The Glenelg Inn

Established in 2006 the Inn has been a lifelong dream and when we found ourselves "empty nesters" we decided to open our home to guests.  After a long and successful career in the Navy we chose to settle in the beautiful countryside community of Howard County Maryland in 1996.  We were drawn here by the fantastic schools and the opportunity to live in the country while only minutes from Baltimore and Washington, D.C.

When our children graduated and moved on we decided to take advantage of the unique opportunity our home offered as B&B type facility.  We completed our remodeling in 2006 and have been welcoming travelers from all over the country.

The Glenelg Inn is situated on 3 beautiful acres with a fully stocked pond and garden paths through the woods.  We added chickens last year and now have wonderful pets who give us fresh eggs every day!

If you are going to be in the area on a temporary assignment or are moving to the area and need a place to stay while waiting for permanent housing come live the dream with us!

In April 2007, Girl Scout Troop 8120 from Poway, CA visited the Glenelg Inn.  The troop stayed 7 days at the inn while touring Washington DC and Gettysburg.  In commemoration of the trip, the troop planted a Weeping Cherry tree in the front of the Inn.

Dear Teresa and the whole Rosas Family,

Thank you so much for welcoming us to your Inn and your house.  We had a great time staying there and it was so nice for us to visit Washington DC and the other areas.  We love your pets and the country setting at your home.  It was so nice to eat dinner in the evening near the pond and under the trees.  We hope the cherry tree we planted will grow and be beautiful in bloom each spring.  We hope to come back some day soon and see you all again.

Love,

Terry, Mindy and all the Girls
